Mega Man 8-bit Deathmatch [Edit Game]

Some free FPS games really show the imagination of its creators, with the retro style of classic games being used to great effect. Lego Wolf3D and 8bit Killer are two of the best examples of this, using the limitations of the period to offer an original take on the first-person genre.Mega Man is another famous franchise that is now taken to a first-person perspective, once again thanks to the effort of independent developers. Mega Man 8-bit Deathmatch is a free multiplayer shooter featuring several characters from the Mega Man series battling in nearly a dozen game modes, from the usual Deathmatch and Capture the Flag to more elaborate modes such as Terminator and Instagib. The graphics engine is a modified version of the one used by Doom 2, offering polished and colorful retro visuals, smooth animations and great sound effects.
