Nitronic Rush [Edit Game]Nitronic Rush is an experimental survival driving game developed by students at DigiPen Institute of Technology. Use the cars many abilities (including boost, wings, and jump) to avoid obstacles that the city throws at you. Prove your abilities and impress the announcer by performing tricks. In many ways the game is a tribute to racing games of the 1990s, but with fresh graphics and gameplay.

Brilliant game that is extremely fun and enjoyable, you may have to repeat each part of the track over and over until you get it exactly correct but even thought I find myself spending 20 mins on each 20m part of a track, I find myself always coming back for more. With a large selection of tracks going from easy to extreme, this game will challenge and entertain anybody for many hours.

Nitronic Rush is an appeaing package. Attractive graphics, great music and fun gameplay, at R0.00 it's a deal not to be missed.
The different game modes will keep you busy for quite a while. Story mode is relatively easy and is a good way to learn the mechanics of the game, it also presents a modicum of a plot in that your vehicle is an anti-virus program that needs to reach the virus infected core in order to repair it. Once you have developed some skill then it's time to tackle the Hardcore and Challenge modes, these will take a fair bit longer to master. On the negative side, this game can get rather frustrating, especially on the Hardcore levels where you will need to pull of certain flips or jumps with precision or risk falling off the track and starting from the last checkpoint again. The game isn't too forgiving when it comes to executing these moves.
